Train like it’s race control, not a school worksheet.

ARDS-style theory practice, visual flag drills, scenario decisions, mock exams and progress tracking — built to feel more like a motorsport training platform.

Unofficial training aid only. Not affiliated with Motorsport UK, ARDS, racing schools, or any official assessment provider. Always follow official briefings, flags and instructions.

How hard is the ARDS test?

The theory side is manageable if you understand flags, safety, procedure and safe racecraft. The trick is making calm decisions under pressure.

Common ARDS mistakes

Common errors include overthinking, choosing aggressive racecraft answers, misunderstanding yellow flags, unsafe rejoins and poor pit lane discipline.

Flags explained

Focus on what each flag requires you to do. Yellow means danger and changes your driving. Blue is awareness. Red is session stopped.

What happens on test day?

Expect briefing, instruction, assessment and theory. Always follow your official provider’s current instructions.
